Project’s scope
Our Client wanted to refresh the visual layer of their website which was unattractive, had an outdated CMS, and didn’t go hand in hand with the platform’s dynamic development. The UI layer required creating a dedicated design system and a visual identification.
Nethansa started off with meeting with the UX team and having a content mapping workshop with analyzing current website and sales funnels, which resulted in developing the wireframes.
The website needed to be bilingual and legitimize the activities of a global brand. The Client had some experience in using WordPress – that’s why they knew what required changes and we could address their needs.
Development
Challenges and solutions
-
01.
Content migration
We migrated over 100 posts from the previous WordPress site to the new one, along with their content, internal linking, media, categories, authors, and tags. Old blog entries are already embedded in the style of the new site and didn’t require any help from the content editors. The migration concerned both language versions with the maintenance of their translational relations.
-
02.
Integration with HubSpot
We built a dedicated space in WordPress for the integration with HubSpot. Created modules allowed integrating HubSpot forms with our code which enabled the Nethansa team to work seamlessly with the tool they already know and like, automating the effects of their work in WordPress.
-
03.
Maintaining SEO power
We cooperated with an external agency hired by the Client throughout the whole development process. They audited the implemented SEO solutions and made sure that they meet all the requirements. Our work involved transferring all the SEO power to the new site.
-
04.
Iterative manner of work
The development started along with the UI design, and we worked simultaneously nearly till the end of the project. All the parties engaged shared a common Basecamp channel to streamline the ongoing acceptance process of graphic ideas and implementation. Our team was responsive, agile, and provided a quick reaction to changes, even after the deployment.
