Project’s scope

Grenevia required the implementation of a graphic project created by another agency, which needed to be transformed into an easy-to-manage website. In addition, they sought a system capable of generating quarterly and monthly financial reports for public release, a necessary requirement due to their entry into the stock exchange. The solution had to be intuitive and user-friendly, providing seamless management of both the website and the compliance-driven financial disclosures.

Development

Challenges and solutions

  • 01.

    Migration and data management

The primary challenge was migrating content from Grenevia’s custom CMS to the new platform while preserving all data and assumptions from the old site. Additionally, the system needed advanced filtering options, allowing users to sort data by dates and categories, while also enabling easy data retrieval and downloads. Thus it ensured accessibility for end users and compliance with financial reporting requirements.

  • 02.

Tight deadline for stock exchange announcement

The deadline for publishing Grenevia’s website updates has been aligned with the public announcement of their entry into the stock exchange. The team had to make sure the site and financial reporting systems were fully operational before the official date, leaving limited time for implementation and testing. Despite the short timeline, the project required precise execution to meet regulatory requirements and maintain a professional presentation for investors and stakeholders.

  • 03.

    Compliance with public company standards

The project also required meeting all the regulatory standards expected from a public company. This included implementing a fully functional English version of the website and integrating live stock market data, which needed to be pulled from external tools.

  • 04.

Maintaining usability with large data sets

Another key challenge was ensuring the website's usability despite the significant amount of data it had to handle. The site needed to remain clear and readable for end users while also providing an intuitive interface for the internal team managing the content. Balancing the volume of information without compromising on user experience or data input efficiency required thoughtful design and a robust content management solution.

  • 05.

    Close collaboration with design agency

Maintaining a close collaboration with the design agency responsible for the visual aspects of the website required meticulous attention to frontend details. We needed to make sure that the implementation was pixel-perfect according to the design specifications, and every visual element had to be approved by the agency.

  • 06.

Excel-based table generation for non-technical users

Grenevia needed a solution that allowed a non-technical team, accustomed to working with Excel, to easily generate tables on the frontend of the website. The challenge was to create a ready-to-use module that integrates seamlessly with various file types, particularly Excel, and simplifies data input. This solution enabled users to add data in their preferred format with just one click, accelerating the process while ensuring the system worked smoothly within their environment.
