Hi! After “Inspirational Box“ we are starting another new series of articles. This time they will be about free mockups, downloadable fonts and helpful links. A good preparation of the project presentation is extremely important because people do judge the book by its cover. Please, feel free to browse through. Enjoy!
The first mockup, or rather a set of them, is a project prepared by Mr.Mockup ™. We can find there mockups of banners, business cards, a MacBook, T-shirts and many more. I recommend visiting his profile — there is truly so much more!
If you want to present a designed app you should check out the mockup from GraphicsFuel. This is not an iPhone mockup like many others — it’s an interface presentation in an interesting composition.
If you like iPhone mockups, you should also see the project prepared by Virgil Pana. A minimalistic and beautiful iPhone X in which you can also present your app. I like it!
Pixelbuddha has a lot of various mockups, however, my attention was caught by a set of flares. Lens flares in combination with a proper glow can create an astonishing effect — both on posters and on Internet pages.
The last thing that I would like to show you today is a neon font created by Bakoom Studio. It has no diacritical marks, but I believe it deserves to be featured.
Helpful links start with… podcasts. Some time ago when I was scrolling through Facebook, I came across a podcast on game design and that’s how I found the nietylko.design webpage. There are more than 20 amazing conversations. It’s definitely worth visiting!
Black is one of my favourite colours. For me it stands for elegance, seriousness, something mysterious. At the end of last year Grafmag prepared a fantastic article about the black colour.
A set of 50 textures for designers! Everything for free 🙂
Many people from the industry claim that the so called “Design Systems” are the future of design. If you want to know more about this subject, I strongly recommend this webpage. You can find there specific and broad-based knowledge.
The last link on the list gives you a set of HueSnap colours. I think that everyone should find something adequate for their projects — a satisfactory colour match.
